Students from the Native American's at Harvard College, as well as other groups will be gathering today in front of Matthews Hall* at 5 pm. All are welcome to join in celebrating an alternative to "Columbus Day" in solidarity with the indigenous people of the Americas.
*Matthews Hall is near the bottom of Harvard Yard, T-side, and near the "dig" at the old Indian College. Students will be gathering in front of a plague on Matthews commemorating Harvard's founding commitment to educate Native students in a building that once stood there.
